Riyad Mahrez has scored seven times in 22 appearances for Manchester City following his arrival from Leicester City during the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old scored one and assisted the other in City’s 2-1 win at Watford on Wednesday night, and will be hoping to keep his spot in the XI for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Chelsea.
Raheem Sterling was dropped to the bench against Watford, which allowed Mahrez and Leroy Sane to operate in the wide positions.

And the City fans have been asked who they want to be dropped for the clash with Chelsea.
Mahrez – valued at £54m by Transfermarkt – received a huge 73% of the votes, with the City supporters wanting Sane and Sterling to be the two wingers in Pep Guardiola’s 4-3-3 formation.
The results are not all that surprising, but Mahrez was excellent against Watford, and might well feel that he deserves to start at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
