The United States men's national team star had to be subbed off during Juventus' 3-2 win over Frosinone last month due to a shoulder injury. McKennie then missed the subsequent Serie A clash against Napoli last week where the Old Lady went down 2-1.
Ahead of their upcoming league encounter against Atalanta, manager Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that the midfielder has fully recovered and could start in Sunday's match.

In the pre-match press conference, Allegri said, "McKennie has recovered, if he is well he will start, Rabiot should be available next week. We haven't beaten Atalanta for five years, they did well in the Europa League; it will be a very physical and technical game."

The 25-year-old has been a mainstay in Allgeri's side in the current season having appeared in 25 league games thus far out of which he has started in 23 matches. He has also provided five assists but is yet to score a goal in the 2023/24 campaign.
