Southampton supporters are running out of patience with goalkeeper Fraser Forster following a handful of disappointing displays.
The England international was heavily praised for his performances between the sticks during his first two seasons at the club after joining from Celtic.
In the current campaign, though, he has been prone to errors in the Premier League and does not seem as solid and commanding as he once was.
In the EFL Cup final last Sunday, Forster conceded three goals, the first of which attracted criticism due to his slow reaction and poor positioning.
Mouez Hassen joined the Saints from Nice at the end of January on a short-term loan deal, but he is yet to seriously challenge Forster.
Some fans believe that the number one should be dropped from the first XI for this Saturday’s trip to Vicarage Road to play Watford.
Others are so unhappy with Forster that they have urged the club to sell him when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
There are some fans, though, that have come to Forster’s defence.
