He will be hoping to enjoy a better time under Reds legend Gerrard than he has done while working with Dyche at Goodison Park. Gray impressed many upon returning to England at Everton in 2021, with six goals recorded in each of his campaigns with the Toffees.
WHAT THEY SAID
Gray has, however, failed to win over Dyche – leading to him being overlooked this season – and is heading for the exits after posting on Instagram: “Everton fans have always been great with me but it’s so difficult to play for someone who don’t show you respect as a person.”
