Chelsea moved 11 points clear at the top of the English Premier League after a battling 3-1 win at home to Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.
Antonio Conte’s side look well on their way to a league title win in the manager’s first season in charge and understandably there’s a feeling of immense optimism surrounding the club right now.
Goals from Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Diego Costa sealed the victory despite a spirited showing from Paul Clement’s Swansea team.
On another day the Swans may have taken something from the game and spent a large chunk of the game at 1-1 after Fernando Llorente converted a Gylfi Sigurdsson cross to give the travelling fans hope.
Chelsea this season though are undeniable and were likely always going to find a way to win. They’ve now won their last 12 matches at home in all competitions.
As you can imagine it was a result that left Chelsea supporters beaming and they took to Twitter to share their opinion…
