West Ham were quite simply swept aside by Manchester City on Saturday, and fans are furious with the performance of Arthur Masuaku.

The Hammers stayed true to form as one of the most confusingly inconsistent teams in the league on Saturday, losing 4-0 to the champions despite putting in a pretty good performance.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side created enough chances to stay in the game, but were woefully inefficient in front of goal.

Pep Guardiola’s side were the total opposite though, ruthlessly exposing the weaknesses down West Ham’s left flank.

Masuaku, who played his best football last season as a wing-back in a back five, has been woeful this season in a back four.

The 25 year-old was withdrawn at half time after a nightmare 45 minutes, and fans are desperate to see Aaron Cresswell back in the starting line-up.
