The USWNT were the 2019 Fifa Women's World Cup champions and the top ranked squad going into this years competition. Their defeat in the 2023 Women's World Cup group stages by Sweden followed a nail biting 5-4 penalty shoot out and was a huge loss for a team who were considered one of the tournament favourites.

National Women’s Soccer League 2023-24
2022-23 Champions: Portland Thorns
The NWSL is the topflight of women’s football in the US and is comprised of twelve teams each playing twenty-two games per season. The 2023 regular season started March 25th and Portland Thorns are back in first place, in the pursuit of a back-to-back title.
That said, the league isn’t over yet. Sand Diego and Gotham are in hot pursuit, only two points behind. With the finals scheduled for November 11th, at San Diego’s Snap Dragon Stadium, the championship is any bodies game.

Streaming women’s soccer has been hit and miss in previous years, but the US national team’s four World Cup wins have paved the way for greater women’s soccer coverage in the US.
The likes of DAZN, Atalanta Media and CBS keep collecting broadcasting rights across the board for international topflight Leagues, so watching women’s soccer is easier than ever this season.
Stream England's WSL
CBS has broadcasting rights to NWSL(US) and WSL(UK) games. CBS Sports Network is the TV channel covering all NWSL matches throughout the season, alongside CBS's streaming platform Paramount+. Select WSL matches will also be steamable through Paramount + and broadcast via CBSSN.
CBSSN broadcasts will be accessible through streaming services with CBS in their channel line-up, such as Fubo, DirecTV, Hulu+Live TV, YouTube TV, or using an OTA antenna.
Stream European top flight leagues
Atalanta Media have the broadcast rights to multiple top flight European soccer leagues in the US, including La Liga F, Frauen Bundesliga and Division 1 Fèmenine.
DAZN have partnered with ATA football to provide even more coverage, so DAZN subscribers will also be able to watch select games and some match highlights. Some content from the leagues will also be aired on DAZN' YouTube channel for free.

2022-23 Champions: Lyon
This year the Women's UEFA Champions League final is being held at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao, Spain. In total 70 teams have taken part from across 48 National Soccer Associations.
The group stage will begin November 14th, where reigning champions Barcelona are already waiting to begin their campaign, accompanied by Lyon, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea.

2022-23 Champions: Chelsea
Otherwise known as the Barclays Women's Super League, the WSL is back again and set to start October 1st. Six-time title winners Chelsea are the reigning champions and will face off against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge in Round 1. The WSL has been a fully professional league since 2019 and consists of the top 12 teams in the UK.

2022 Champions: Barcelona

2022-23 Champions: FC Bayern München
Known as the Google Pixel Frauen Bundesliga for sponsorship purposes, the Frauen Bundesliga began August 18th, with SV Werder Bremen suffering a crushing 4-0 defeat against FC Bayern München. The twelve-team league will have a winter break beginning December 20th. The Season will then resume in the new year January 19th, 2024, and will run until May. Bayern München are currently top of the league, but only two points ahead of VFL Wolfsburg who will be looking to bridge the gap before the break.
